The Sangria Cup !

Mallorca Gourmet Cup Planning!

Dear Tennis Friends,

I can’t wait to share some inside news with you. Your response is requested, so read to the end!

I recently returned from a week-long tennis camp at the Nadal Tennis Academy on Mallorca (an island off the coast of Spain) with a group of 14 (10 players, 4 non-tennis partners) where we spent time on the courts, sightseeing, and enjoying the superb facilities of the Academy.  This is an experience to be shared (!!) and it was only natural to propose…

To consider:

  • Ever attended the French Open?  You could spend a few days prior to Mallorca in Paris and then hop over on a fairly inexpensive regional flight!

  • You could also add any other interesting European location before or after the camp. It is a great time to be there: pre-season and when rates and crowds are more favorable.

  • The rooms at the Academy Sports Centre are just what you’d expect. Very clean and efficient. Take a look online. The food was more than we could handle and all delicious! The breakfast buffet is out of this world!

  • The on-sight spa and two pools were incredible.  Some of our group spent a great deal of time enjoying the facilities.

  • Sightseeing options abound around the island and local driving is very similar to the US. You may reserve additional hard court, clay or indoor court time at a low fee during your free time.

PS. NO – there is no promise that Rafa will be around. If he does well in Paris, he will be otherwise engaged. So don´t base your decision on his presence. He is NOT included in the package. But the Academy TV sets will certainly be set to the French Open!
